If that's severe driving, what constitutes regular driving? Well, it would look something like this: I live somewhere with moderate temperatures all year round – I'm thinking San Diego here. And I live close to a freeway on-ramp. Everywhere I need to go is right off the freeway, at least four miles (six and a half km) from my home. I can drive at a steady 60 miles per hour (100 kph) when I'm on the freeway. Fenton Safety Systems: Tire Pressure Monitoring SystemPosted July 12, 2020 10:36 AMFlats, blow outs, skids and longer stopping distances can all be the result of driving around Fenton on underinflated tires. Admittedly, it's hard to tell when a radial tire is underinflated. If your vehicle manufacturer recommends 35 pounds of pressure, your vehicle tires are considered significantly underinflated at 26 pounds. The tire may not look low until it gets below 20 pounds. Your safety has always been a priority at Muffler & Go. We want you on the road and accident free. We've traditionally provided things like tire rotations, snow tire mounting and flat fixes at a very low cost. Our friendly and knowledgeable service technicians at Muffler & Go have been thoroughly trained on many systems and new tire-changing techniques. All of this adds up to significantly increased cost to perform what was once a very inexpensive service for you. So when you start so see the cost of tire changes, flat repairs and rotations going up at Muffler & Go, please keep in mind that it's because of government mandated safety equipment. We want to keep you safely on the road – and we're committed to doing it at a fair price. This safety equipment will help you avoid the most common types of vehicle failure in Fenton, and possibly a catastrophic accident. Muffler & Go
Change Your Wiper Blades Twice Yearly at Muffler & GoPosted July 5, 2020 9:34 AMBecause 90% of our driving decisions are based on visual information, unobscured vision is paramount. Which brings us to the topic of today's Muffler & Go article: wiper blades. While this isn't the most exciting automotive subject, it's important. You wouldn't drive at night in Fenton with your headlights off, but a dirty or streaked vehicle windshield can catch the glare of the sun or on-coming headlights and make it just as difficult to see. Randy Atwell, 04/23/2024Been bringing my cars here for around 20 years. They stay busy because they do good work. Brought in my Buick Verano to get a wheel bearing replaced. The mechanic not only replaced the bearing, but found another issue, that was in need of repair. Because they had done some major work on this car a few weeks earlier, they took care of both repairs and just charged for the wheel bearing replacement. They went above and beyond anything I expected.
